| How to Pay for the TOEFL? | Passing the TOEFL can be a significant step for non-native speakers of English on their way to studying in the United States or Canada. A good score can mean admission to an undergraduate program, or even winning an assistantship to assist in covering the costs of graduate school. The company that presents TOEFL, the Educational Testing Service, proposes little support to those students who cannot pay for the cost of the exam
1. Apply for the fee reduction service proposed by the Educational Testing Service. This is a one time voucher that cuts the price of the TOEFL about in half. It is obtainable to non-native speakers of English who are attending high school in the United States. Applications have pieces that must be completed by both the student and his or her supervision counselor. They can be simply downloaded from ETS's website.
2. Check with self-governing cultural or ethnic organizations to see if they propose vouchers. These groups present aid to both those who live in the United States and those who are just going to study there. A lot of such organizations representing dissimilar countries exist, and propose aid based on their own set of criteria. Usually, they propose a limited number to students who have the greatest necessity or have demonstrated high accomplishment. 
3. Ask for your own school about fee support. A lot of institutions propose some kind of aid to those who necessitate help applying to universities.
4. Apply for a Fulbright scholarship. Should you be nominated, the Fulbright Commission will bear the costs of the exam.
