The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is used to see how well people whose native language is not native can apply use and understand traditional North American English. People take the TOEFL test to study at American or English colleges and universities. Besides, some government agencies, scholarship programs, and licensing/certification agencies apply TOEFL scores to see how fluent applicants’ English is.
It is quite possible to perform the test on paper or on a computer in two formats: 1. paper-based test (PBT) 2. next generation computer-based test (iBT) The iBT is not possible to have at every test center. It is better to have it comparing with the PBT.
The next generation TOEFL® iBT test contains four sections:

An integrated task is a task where you apply more than one skill. Such as reading about something, listening to a lecture, and then writing about the heard and read information. The Paper-based test is available in such format:

Such TOEFL test can are taken at a test center. It is organised by the Educational Testing Service. It is possible to register for the TOEFL® iBT online. The TOEFL test has various price, depending on the country. Its price in the USA is $150, in the UK the TOEFL ibt is $185 and the paper-based TOEFL is $150.
